What good is someone\'s word if they don\'t live up to it even when the situation changes? How many times do people say something they don\'t really mean? Or promise something as a means to an end? What good would it be for me to have said that and then let you come under attack? It would mean nothing if I did (love always protects). So I must work to protect you. And so I will.
This is not the kind of thing that comes from obligation. I do it out of love. Although I admit that for the last couple months I have slacked. Had a lot to think about and many things troubled me. But I\'m not running any more. I will turn and fight to protect the one I love even if she don\'t feel the same. She doesn\'t have to know when or even that I pray for her peace and protection.
I\'ve already purposed in my heart to fight for you each night, you have my word on that! That is my way of the ninja! ; )
