Well seems as though I have a partner in crime to work with to build/buy an apartment complex. We spent a good long time yesterday talking about what our plans are and they seem to be nearly the same. Our strengths support our weaknesses.
All started after I found a book how to finance construction projects. That book has the perfect example for us too and that was the funding of an apartment complex.
Before I met her I had already been doing research on the potential costs of a four unit building to start with. I found that the costs are in reach and the market situation right now should make filling it when done easy too. We may just buy instead of build at first but we haven\'t decided yet. Lots more to research.
With small steps comes the bigger ones that I would like to do. Such as ~10story apartment building downtown, townhouse neighborhood akin to what I saw in santa clara, thermal depolymerizer, and river park like development but with my own twist.
So maybe my dreams are not as far off as I thought :-D
